Welcome! Whether you're new to therapy or continuing your journey, I'm honored to be part of your healing experience. I work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and addiction. I have a particular interest in helping those who feel stuck. In our work together, we will build on the many strengths you already possess. We’ll help you better understand yourself so that you can achieve your goals and live a more fulfilling, connected life.
My priority is to be fully present with you in your challenges, creating a safe, non-judgmental space to explore what matters most to you. Through patience and collaboration, we’ll give voice to difficult emotions and find humor in life’s challenges. The connection we build can be a powerful catalyst for change.
I'm in the final year of my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Seattle University. Before returning to school, I gained over 30 years of experience in the mental health field, working with individuals from diverse backgrounds. My experience includes social work, case management, and diagnostic evaluations. My client-centered approach draws from psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioral therapies. I use a trauma-informed lens that validates each client's experience from a range of backgrounds and cultures.
Before moving to the Pacific Northwest, I was born and raised in Wyoming and spent 15 years in Colorado. My love for nature began in the Rockies, where I rode horses and fished as a child. Now in Seattle, I enjoy hiking and exploring beaches with my wife. I am an empty nester and enjoy spending time with my adult son when I travel back to Wyoming.
