I have always been drawn towards the unique ways in which we each think about and experience the world. As a therapist, I feel it is my responsibility to hold space for my clients and their perspectives. Therapy can be an opportunity to explore and grow our true selves and values, and also to let go of beliefs or messages that no longer serve us. My hope is that every client I work with feels more empowered and capable of making the changes they want in their lives.

I work with women, non-binary people, and gender expansive individuals who are struggling with depression, anxiety, and the impacts of previous trauma. I particularly love client work that engages in identity exploration, reflecting on and healing attachment styles, and reparenting. I have specialized experience treating clients with disordered eating, eating disorders, and body image concerns as well.

While I am grateful for the accessibility to therapy that telehealth provides, I strongly prefer to meet with clients in person, as I find it to be exceptionally effective.

My therapeutic approach is one of whole-person care. Every single person deserves therapy that is tailored to their specific needs and wants. My therapeutic approach  draws upon concepts from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Narrative Therapy. In my work with individuals who are struggling with food or body concerns, I also include ideas of Health At Every Size, body respect and neutrality, Fat Liberation, and the All Foods Fit model.

I grew up in Washington state near the Olympic Peninsula and have been living in Seattle since 2016. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Central Washington University and my master’s degree in Counseling at City University of Seattle. I love Seattle’s music and food scenes, and spend most of my free time with friends and  family exploring different neighborhoods and events across King County. I hope to connect with you and help you achieve the life you want!
